During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, St Paul's Covent Garden is operating reduced opening hours to help keep our staff, congregation and visitors safe.

Church Closure

The church and grounds are closed on Friday 19th August 2022 as we are unable to staff the building due to industrial action on public transport.

Opening Times

During July and August, Iris Theatre performs in the grounds of the church most days of the week. During the performances, the church will be closed to the public. If you are making a special visit to the church, we strongly advise that you call or email in advance to ensure that the church will be open.

MONDAY to FRIDAY: 08:30am-5:00pm (later if hosting an event)

SATURDAY: Opening times depend on events (please see the ‘what’s on’ section of the website)

SUNDAY: 09:00am-1:00pm (5:00pm when there is evensong)

St. Paul’s Church is open far more often than most churches. However, PLEASE NOTE that the church and grounds may occasionally have to be closed for maintenance or for production reasons. We try to post these closures on the ‘what’s on’ section of this website but, given the nature of live performance, it is not always possible to give advanced notice. If you are planning a special visit we STRONGLY advise phoning the office in advance.
