While fake news is nothing new, true stories find a way of coming through. 

Time-hopping over a gap of centuries - four agents of telling weave together the tales of two very different Kings and Queens. 

From medieval power struggle to Stuart mythology and the Upstart Crow himself, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth meet King Macbeth and his Queen, Gruoch - the real Lady Macbeth. 

Which ‘truth’ lasts? Is it the one with the most moving story or the one that holds up a mirror to human nature? Whichever, you must find your fable and kill it with your truth.

The Real Lady Macbeth by Stuart Delves was awarded a Fringe First at Edinburgh in 1982 and now, returns home.
