What is the double bill with Romeo and Juliet?
A Place For Us are presenting two productions across their tour. Both Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth and being performed in rep with Romeo & Juliet happening first, a long interval and then Macbeth to follow. Given the 70 minute length of each production, we advise that you book both shows for the full experience.
How do I access the Actors' Church?
There are usually five entrances to the Actors' Church - only one will be open for this performance. This entrance can be found via Bedford Street through two large iron gates. It is a short walk from Covent Garden or Leicester Square station. The Box Office is located just beyond the gates at the entrance of the garden. What if I require step-free entry to the church?
As noted, there is no step free entry to the performance area, however it is step free into the main body of the grounds via Bedford Street. For more guidance, please read our Accessibility Information.

What time do you open?
Access to the church grounds will be from 45 minutes before the start of the performance.
Can I book a ticket on the door?
Yes, you will be able to book a ticket on the door. Please note, we only accept card payments.
How do I book a specific seat?
This performance has unreserved seating, and is on a first come, first serve basis. Alternatively, if you would prefer to bring your own chair or picnic blanket, please let our Front Of House staff know, and will do our best to seat you.
Do you sell refreshments?
We will be operating a bar open from 45 minutes before the performance starts and during the interval. You will be able to purchase cold drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), including Prosecco, Pimm's and other favourites.
Can I bring a picnic?
Although we do allow you to bring your own picnic blanket, you may bring food but we only allow drinks that have been purchased onsite to be consumed on the premises.
Are there toilets?
Yes, there are gender neutral bathrooms located on the first floor of the church. There is also an access toilet located within the foyer of the church. Access to the church is step free. For more guidance, please read our Accessibility Information.
What happens if it rains?
The Great British summertime is famous for its unpredictable weather! In 99% of cases, the performance will continue come rain or shine. In cases of heavy rain, it may be necessary to halt the performance for a short period. In the unlikely circumstance of extreme weather (including extreme heat), the performance may be postponed until a further date. For more information on this, please read our Weather Policy.
Do please dress for the weather accordingly! If possible, try to avoid bringing umbrellas as they can block sight-lines for other audience members. Raincoats and ponchos are just as fetching - we can provide free ponchos for audience members without any suitable cover!

I'm running late, what do I do?
We completely understand that getting around London can be difficult sometimes! Although the performance will start promptly, we do allow access to latecomers during the first 15 minutes of the performance.
