Eclectic Voices is an ambitious and versatile London choir that sings in an unusually wide range of styles: classical, contemporary, ethnic, folk and world music, gospel, and jazz.
Eclectic Voices will perform American composer Nico Mulhy's Bright Mass with Canons, a modern setting of the traditional words, followed by Benjamin Britten's masterpiece Rejoice in the Lamb. The second half features vocalist Lucy Rahman and tabla player Yousuf Ali Khan, who join the choir to perform Malhaar - A Requiem for Water, a piece by Indian-American composer Reena Ismail, which blends Hindustani and Western musical traditions.
