The Marcel Sinfonia
The Marcel Sinfonia brings together graduates from leading conservatoires including the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. The Sinfonia performs regularly here at the Actors Church and in Southwark Cathedral, and has also performed in Brentwood Cathedral, Dublin's Christ Church Cathedral, and The Signet Library, Edinburgh. The orchestra's repertoire includes concertos by Vivaldi, Marcello, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Schumann and Poulenc. The Sinfonia's name derives from the Marcel Suite, composed by the orchestra's musical director Andrew Campling.
