The Actors' Church is delighted to announce our first New Notes season - giving a stage to original voices in Musical Theatre.

Situated in the heart of the West End, and with a long history of supporting emerging artists, The Actors’ Church is perfectly placed to introduce audiences to some of UK Musical Theatre’s most exciting, up-and-coming lyricists, composers, and book writers.

Join us for a thrilling series of concerts and workshop performances showcasing an eclectic mix of work from what could soon be your new favourite show, and get to know the writers first-hand on their journeys to get their musicals to the big stage!

BramwellBrand New Musicals Showcase features songs and scenes from shows including Wallis, the story of Wallis Simpson - Best Musical Edinburgh Fringe 2024, Alan Turing - Guilty of Love, and CLD - The Real Lewis Carroll. PLUS star Edinburgh Fringe Richard Lewis's Edinburgh hit one-man piano show featuring 'quick-fire patter and songs with sublime piano playing'.

Kitty Morgan's The Muses


Join us for a night of musical theatre thrills and spectacular female talent! This extraordinary concert features the work of musical theatre composer / lyricist Kitty Morgan (“Beautiful Melodies” Claude-Michel Schonberg) performed exclusively by the women who have inspired and performed Kitty’s writing, from workshops to the West End stage.

Queen Idia the Musical is a powerful new work that brings to life the story of a legendary 16th-century Nigerian queen. Told through a rare and vibrant blend of Afrobeats and spoken word poetry, this musical explores identity, legacy, and resistance and reimagines the woman behind one of Africa’s and indeed the world’s most iconic bronze masks.
