Bar's Bar

A valuable addition to our events, Bar’s Bar has been serving audiences at The Actors’ Church since we finalised the license in 2015. Our cheerful bartenders serve a selection of Wines, Beers and Softs at the majority of our public concerts and events and, during summer, we even occasionally move outside to shake up refreshing affordable cocktails!

Bar’s Bar owes its name to the late Dame Barbara Windsor, who was a great friend of the church. Known to her friends as “Bar”, she unveiled the restored Narthex of the church in 2019. Proudly presiding over Bar’s Bar lies her commemorative plaque which aptly quotes her catchphrase from Eastenders, “Get Out of My Pub!”

Many concerts here have a ticket type which provides a complimentary drink, and it is always possible to pre-order a drink with your ticket. Our expertly selected wine and beer selection provides a menu for everyone and, if you are a non-drinker, we have plenty of non-alcoholic refreshments available. During summer we stock up on Prosecco and during the Advent and Christmas season we bring out the mulled wine and minced pies.
