Marrianne Town Smith

Lyric-dramatic soprano Marrianne Town Smith started to sing in 2007 as a hobby and distraction from a fast-paced marketing management role.  In 2015 she successfully auditioned for a Postgraduate Vocal Studies Programme at Trinity Laban and graduated with distinction in 2017.

Most recently Marrianne performed the role of Abigaille in Verdi’s Nabucco and was soprano soloist in Brahm’s Ein Deutsches Requiem and Handel’s Messiah in Bart’s Great Hall London.  Other roles performed and covered include Madeleine Lidoine, Les Dialogues des Carmélites; Maddalena, Andrea Chenier; Donna Anna, Don Giovanni; The Gingerbread Witch and Gertrude Hansel and Gretel, and on the concert stage has performed as soprano soloist in Verdi's Requiem. Marrianne's 2022 season includes concert performances as Abigaille Nabucco, her orchestral concert debut with St Paul’s Sinfonia singing Chausson’s La Poeme de l’amour et de la mer, First Witch in Dido and Aeneas and Ariadne Ariadne auf Naxos.  Please visit for more information.

Verity Jo Spencer Hall

Verity Jo Spencer Hall is a 24 year old Soprano currently going into her third year of study at the Royal Academy of Music. Verity began singing at the age of 17 playing leading lady roles in musicals and was the soprano soloist in choirs around the coast in Spain where she has been living since the age of 4. After being talent spotted by the then Jette Parker Young Artist Programme student Yuriy Yurchuk, she was invited back to the Royal Opera House in 2019 for a consultation with vocal teacher Jack Livigni where he offered her a place in his MOSF young artist programme in Sicily. Whilst there, she performed in chorus for La Rondine and debuted in the role of Zerlina in Don Giovanni. A Vocal Coach, Marek Ruszczynski suggested for her to audition for the Royal Academy of Music and she was accepted into the BMus 4 year undergraduate course, where she is now in her second year.

Highlights of 2022 so far have been singing chorus and Anna in Verdi’s “Nabucco” in the first production for Uncovered Opera Company and her first recital in Covent Garden Artists’ club in May.

He has sung with different Opera companies, including Lyric Opera Northwest, and Tacoma Opera, as well as participating in many concerts in Washington, New York, Idaho, Sicily, and now England. He hopes to continue performing around the world.
