Singers from the Southend Girls' Choir will be performing a varied programme of music to suit all tastes at this free lunchtime recital, with a programme ranging from Monteverdi to Britten. The choir regularly performs in London venues, including Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, Royal Albert Hall and major London churches.
Programme to include music by:- Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Goodall, Jenkins, Britten, Rutter, Chilcott, Quilter and more.

The Southend Girls' Choir consists of singers from schools and colleges across Southend and South East Essex, and offers high quality vocal training free of charge to all its singers. With a training choir for younger singers and a chamber choir for those aged 20+ the choir attracts from aged 6 - 30. Previous performances have included the BBC Proms, British Youth Opera, Christmas concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and Barbican, and annual overseas tours. Concert tours have taken the choir to Australia, Canada, US, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seychelles and many different countries within Europe.
