The concert will include a range of ancient and modern acapella classics from the choral repertoire. From the sixteenth century Renaissance perfection of Palestrina's "Tu Es Petrus" to the twenty first century romance of Whitacre's "A Boy and a Girl", you'll be spirited away for sixty minutes of calm reflection surrounded by some of the most glorious music the world has ever known.
The Damian Singers are a select chamber choir with members drawn from the chapel choirs of Cambridge and Oxford colleges. The choir has sung numerous concerts across the UK and abroad over a twenty year history as well as supporting services in the largest cathedrals in Europe.
All proceeds raised will go to MIND, the mental health charity. MIND provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. The charity campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
