Coloma Covent Girls School - Concert (18 March)

Coloma Covent Girls School - Concert

18 March

Chamber music from variety of instrumental and vocal ensembles

Coloma Convent Girls' School is a Catholic girls’ state school located in Shirley, South London. The school has a rich musical past, regularly appearing at The Royal Albert Hall for the final of the Music For Youth Festival. Each year, Coloma presents a programme of chamber music at St Paul’s to showcase the vast musical talent the school has to offer.

This year several of the school’s string quartets and wind groups from a range of ages, as well as the highly-regarded Senior Flute ensemble, will be performing. The concert will also feature some of the school’s top soloists. To cap off the evening, the St Cecilia’s Singers, Coloma’s flagship choir, will be performing. This group is an auditioned choir that regularly tours internationally. The evening promises to exhibit the many fine musicians Coloma has as its disposal.

Running time: Starts at 7.30pm and runs for 2 hours. There will also be a 15 minute interval.
