PLATFORM: Dylan Wynford
Come and hear a selection of new musical theatre and punk folk, performed by Iris Theatre's first PLATFORM artist: Dylan Wynford.
Dylan Wynford is a writer/performer mainly working in Musical Theatre and Punk Folk music. He is lead singer of 'Dylan Wynford and His Yesteryears', a punk/folk quartet and writer of Bright Young Things and The Throwaways, both of which received their premieres at The Other Palace in the last three years. He has also provided music for musicals The Lost Ones with Sevan. K. Greene and Catatonic Matt with Joe Kerry.
PLATFORM artists are a carefully curated group of break-out artists from multiple disciplines gathered under one banner by Iris Theatre at its home at St Paul's Covent Garden. The PLATFORM events feature creatives who wouldn't ordinarily perform somewhere like St Paul's, and provide them an opportunity to showcase themselves.
Iris Theatre is an award-winning theatre company and charity resident at the historic Actors’ Church, St Paul’s Covent Garden. We’re devoted to creating transformational opportunities for the next generation of theatre practitioners and artists. Our big theatrical event is our annual summer season at St Paul’s, usually featuring a Shakespeare and a family show in the grounds of, and inside, the building.
Further information about PLATFORM, including how to become one of the initiative's artists, is available on Iris Theatre's website.
