PLATFORM forms part of Iris Theatre's Summer festival. As theatre begins to emerge after the difficulties of COVID-19, Iris Theatre reaffirms its commitment to support artists across disciplines to create and showcase work in the heart of London's theatreland. Iris returns with a festival of new work in the beautiful grounds of St Paul's Church, Covent Garden.

Nick Hart - Performer is fast acquiring a reputation as one of the most accomplished interpreters of English folk song. His love of the nuances of traditional singing informs his minimal guitar accompaniment, and his songs are delivered with a great emphasis on storytelling. His repertoire of songs, drawn largely from his native East Anglia, reflects his understanding of both the depth and breadth of material within the English tradition and his engaging performance style has made him a hit with audiences up and down the country. He has released two studio albums, both of which have gained widespread critical acclaim. For this concert he is joined by fiddle maestro and long time collaborator Tom Moore on viola.

Dylan Wynford - Performer is performer, writer, and composer who has been putting out work as an artist for around 7 years now. Trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Dylan and his work have appeared across the London Theatre scene. His songwriting is often rooted in “millennial angst” (his words), as established in his new musical The Throwaways, now in workshop at the Other Palace. Previous shows Dylan has composed include Bright Young Things (2017) and The Lost Ones (2018). The lead singer of Dylan Wynford and His Yesteryears, a punk/folk quartet, Dylan has published several tracks on Soundcloud and Spotify, including his first album “The Funniest Night of My Short, Beautiful Life” in 2014.
