If this is what growing up feels like then I never want it to stop

Join Ash on her 25th birthday as J.M. Barrie’s seminal hero Peter Pan throws her back in time in this enchanting solo show written and performed by Evangeline Dickson, which was first performed as part of Maiden Speech. Set to a nostalgia-infused soundtrack, Dear Peter explores whether anyone is truly free from growing up through a collection of fragmented memories, poetic frankness and darkly comedic storytelling.

Dear Peter forms part of Iris Theatre's Summer festival. As theatre begins to emerge after the difficulties of COVID-19, Iris Theatre reaffirms its commitment to support artists across disciplines to create and showcase work in the heart of London's theatreland. Iris returns with a festival of new work in the beautiful grounds of St Paul's Church, Covent Garden.

Since graduating from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2017, she has toured internationally with the Young Shakespeare Company, appeared in Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience and continues to devise with award-winning physical theatre company Spies Like Us. ‘Dear Peter’ was premiered as a work-in-progress as part of Maiden Speech Festival in 2019 and Evangeline has also written pieces for Iris Theatre and All The Web’s A Stage.

Kayla Feldman - Director is a writer and director currently living in London.
