Monday 24th April
7.30pm

Scandinavian Heart is a musical theatre play centered on a group of friends during the London Occupy Movement. It examines the power of protest to change lives. The story looks at the protagonists’ engagement with the politics of the day, their struggles with identity and belonging in London, and charts their changing friendships. Although the piece is set during the Occupy Movement, its themes are just as relevant now as they were then.

Workin Process is proud to present this piece by Dike Okoh in association with Scandinavian Heart. Presented at St Paul’s Church, Covent Garden on the 24th and 25th of April 2017, 7:30pm

Running Time: 1 hr 15

Tickets : £12 (£10 Concession)

Iris Theatre's 10th Birthday

BW

After a decade of wowing audiences with everything from classic Greek tragedy to modern romantic musicals, Iris Theatre celebrates its 10th birthday in style! Come and have a drink with us for this special event!

It wouldn’t be an Iris event without enjoying the award-winning gardens of St Paul’s Church, Covent Garden where we have become known for our outdoor promenade productions. Featuring lots of wine,  good conversation and a couple of short performances from the past 10 years – come spend a couple of hours on bank holiday Monday on May 1st with us celebrating 10 years of Iris Theatre!

In its 10th year, Iris is continuing to nurture new musicals with the Workin Process series, this summer sees Macbeth and Hansel & Gretel take to the grounds of the Actors’ Church, and beyond the gates of Covent Garden there are also three more yet-to-be announced projects in the pipeline.

Your ticket includes your first drink (beer, wine or soft drink) and if the weather decides not be kind to us – we will have a huge marquee in place to protect us from the rain.

Picnics and all ages welcome.

Cash bar only – but promising to be the cheapest prices in London!

Heart-warming family musical FRECKLES is “a sure fire hit”.

Uplifting new musical set in 1930s Britain. “Foreign” foster child Fran Eddy impacts on a close knit coastal community. Can the odd live wire  not only shock, but surprise and enlighten? In a decade on the brink of changes in attitudes, can an outsider find a home and belong?

FRECKLES – the musical (Mel Lawman- writer/ lyricist)

Music- Matt Finch, Owain Coleman and Tom Cory.
